Hi ...Great to hear from you... It's a 5 Watt ... since all I deal with is aquariums I really don't know much about reptile needs... sorry I can't be of more help.

Ok...since there are some questions regarding the heater I did some checking...I don't have any reptiles but I found that the heater is good for small critters such as lizards, small snakes, spiders...I hope that helps..

I know it says under the tank but can you tell me if this one is of the ones that has the sticky side as to mount to the side of a tank also please ? :)
