Description

The listing, Beading Thread, Needles, Wax & More has ended.

There are beading needles, beading pick up you put on end of finger, bead leather strip you put on you finger to protect while beading, wax for coating thread, small scissors (embroidery type), and several rolls of thread some 00 for using with very small beads, like delicas or size 11. Great for the beginner beader. I don't and can't do beading anymore due to my eyes.

that's right, I pass it on. I sure had fun when I was doing it. Beaded fancy baskets, crystals, bags and beaded on leather.

Beading on clothing works using denim or cloth first. I used to bead right on the shoulders of some of my dresses and make beautiful beaded trim to start with. Then I started doing the lazy stitch on leather and so on.

Hi :) Is it possible to bead right on the garment ...why the demin or cloth first? How long had you been beading before you had to give it up? Do you have a website where I can look at some of the work you used to do?

It is very hard to bead right on leather. You need to get used to beading on something soft first. You'll break a lot of needles. Most beading needles are thin and long. I tried to find shorter needles to handle better. The only place I have all my work on is facebook, called Shatomabargains and here is the link to the pictures. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shatomabargains/190256367655453?sk=photos

Yes, at one time I was very productive. As I've gotten older, I'm back to painting and pottery. Have done all that as well. lol

Where it comes to art and crafts, I've taught many different things. Also had my own ceramic/porcelain business and taught porcelain doll making. Also threw pottery and hand slabbed items. Always have painted some too.
