I love these old postcards. My elderly uncle, who is also a dear friend, collected postcards for years and when he was in the hospital, his grown (in age though not wisdom) children threw old nearly his entire collection in their attempt to de-hoard his home without any regard to what was important to their father. I have bid on many of your auctions as I know it will really brighten his day (he now lives in assisted living) to receive some of these and remember his earlier times. Thanks for sharing with the Listia community! :)

Thank you for sharing. I'm thankful there are many Listians, like yourself, that appreciate these old beautiful pieces of history. Those that have handwritten messages do tell their own story. The art can be very nice as well. Thanks again!
