Awesome collectable! From the beginning of the first century! From Constantine The Great Roman Emperor. The first emperor to convert to Christianity. Also one of the most prominent personalities in history. This piece is truly unique and would make a great addition to any collection.
I purchased this coin and other ancients when I started collecting. I did purchase them from only the MOST respected and highest rated dealers on EBay. I've been a collector of many things through my life and I'm not stupid!;)
Now sadly there is some corrosion on the obverse(heads) side of coin. I did not know the extreme caution that must be used in handling them. The oils or dirt on my hands started this corrosion you see in pics. That unfortunately stupid in my part. But this coin still shows very nice details for it age. Features Constantine facing left on OBV and Wreath and text on REV. I did research all my ancient coins at a time but can't find the detailed info I had. You can research ancient coin sites and get more detailed info on this coin and the text. There's several sites for ancient coinage, but there's a lot of coins through the ages so it takes some hunting sometimes!
But that's the fun part after you get it!
