Hey everyone, I'm an idiot. I bid 10755 on this to get it for my mom bc she LOVES roses. Well, I went thru her jewelry while she was at work & guess what? She already has a VERY similar set :(. So if you would like to outbid me, go on ahead, you'd be helping me out greatly! Thanks =)

Because Listia doesn't show you what the actual highest bid is, but if someone were to bid....say 750 right now, it would say, sorry you've been outbid by another user. Then you'd have to keep going up & up with your bid until you hit my highest #, once you're over 10755, so say 10758, it'll then say congratulations you're now the highest bidder. It never tells you the exact amount the person leading actually bid, then it'd be too easy to outbid them & there's no competition in that.

Try it, we'll you can't on your own, but have someone else, for haha's bid something & watch what it says. It'll keep saying the same until someone bids above 10755.

You had to have at some point bid on something & gotten the message sorry another bidder has bid higher than you, or something similar, that's why.

That's what it shows you. But if someone makes a bid of again let's say 750, it's going to tell them they've been outbid by another user. & then the high bid will increase to 750, if they then bid 850, it'll say sorry you've been outbid by another user, & it'll increase the high bid to 850 & it'll keep doing that until someone bids 10758, then it'll finally say Congratulations you are not the high bidder! & it'll increase the high bid to 10750. That's how it works. It's not going to show anyone the true high bid amount. If you're bidding on anything try it.
