The listing, McCall's Shirt Pattern Sizes 12, 14, 16 has ended.

This is a pattern I recieved here on Listia. The only problem is- it won't fit me! I'm not an advanced sewer, so I don't know how to adjust a pattern, but I'd rather start out on something I didn't have to adjust. I will tell you (which was not told to me) that this pattern says "Focus on Overlock (Serger) Sewing". Now I don't know if that means you have to use a serger foot or a serger, but I thought I'd mention that. There are some very cute tops to be made with this pattern. i found out how to adjust a pattern by looking it up online though it took me like a month but i did. i do however like this pattern and i just might bid on it.

I saw an episode of Sewing w/ Nancy that showed how to adjust pants, but I missed the prior episode which was also on adjusting patterns, so they may have done shirts. I have tons of books, but I want my first clothing project to be on the easy side. I have a tote bag %75 done. I may be listing some stretch lycra fabric in red soon as I have changed my mind on how I'm going to make my next project. Thanks for commenting!

your welcome. i find so much stuff on sewing online that i have to print all out or write it down in a special sewing idea/pattern book i came up with to hold everything i wanna do. sewing with nancy hmmm she might have a website.

I'll have to check if there's a website. A friend has loaned me a Singer sewing book that's massive. I figure everything I need to know has to be in there. If I ever get off Listia & look at it! Thanks for commenting!
