This piece is marked China on the bottom, impressed into the metal, but not a new piece.The handle appears to be jade. The label was marked Chinese iron for silk with Jade handle.
The piece is 6" from end to end and a little over 2" in height at the highest point.
The sides have raised floral/bamboo decorations.
