Questions & Comments
its unfortunate that they shipped these cheap netbooks with an os as crappy as windows ce even worse is you cant install a different os as the os is stored on an eeprom chip..the only real plus is they they are super cheap and super light(having no hard drive) so how much storage so they have and what cpu are they running? i imagine an arm something or other around 700mhz...and aplications are very limited for this os and it doesnt support flash so in order to watch youtube videos you need to use thier propriatary closed source youtube app..this also mean websites like facebook;s chat will be unavailable to you(though facebook merged it messages and chat now so you would still be ok)..whew that all just giving a lil background as you had nearly zero info on they lil boogers
And yoli I have two little girls that wold love them just as much you can't harass someone into not bidding stay out of my inbox that stop ***** message was very unappreciated!
yeah id be nice to see them turned on. Only games your gonna be able to play on those are simple flash, shockwave, and java games and anything not very demanding on graphics
Yes a pic of one turned on would be great, so you did find a cord to charge, I am so interested, so this is ready for wireless does anyone know? I have wireless wifi, so can i just turn it on , and surf the web?? If anyone looking at knows these answers please help
on the down side no ext. video support, on the plus side you can use a usb hub adapter to get more function and even plug in a few flash drives I know a little clunky but the fact is still they are free and that is never a bad deal if you need something to compute.
could you please provide a model number would like to know if the have an internal 2.5 inch 44 pin ide connection like my thin client if so they would be capable of running a ide to cf adapter enabling ne1 to easily format to any platform the specs could support such as windows xp cant seem to find much info on these on the web other than the baxic specs would like to also know if the bios supports booting to removable drives than that would leve another option to boot off the sd with a good at least 32 gb sd this wouldnt be all that bad to have as a throw around. thanks for any help you could provide and good luck on your auction.
Can you submit a picture of them turned on? Preferably with your Listia screen name written on a piece of paper in the picture somewhere? Would also be nice to have more information, size, speed, etc.
ok also 2 of the usb port may ONLY and i mean only used for keyboard and mouse and there is no vga output on these puppies either also they have 2gb of internal storage meaning you might wanna invest in a decent sd card for storage i only know all this because its the same generic Chinese manufacturer that mad the sylvania 7" netbook and are in fact simply different colors built the same system at heart..on the plus side these are great to carry around as something you wouldn't mind losing or something for a very small child to play with..my sylavnia is currently the best book top ive ever owned...that being said ill still bid on them
