Love this show. Definitely want to read the book.

It's wonderful! I couldn't get into the show much until I read the book, and was dying to see how the show represented certain situations. The show is not totally accurate to the book, so as you watch the show, you'll find yourself thinking, "I wonder if this really happened this way". The author, Piper Kerman, is an executive consultant for the show, so she approves the plots - it's a great read!

I personally liked the book better than the show, and if you read the book, then watch the show, you'll understand why. A great deal of the show takes situations that really happened (as described in the book) and then exaggerates them for comedic or dramatic value...
