well kind of, nickel, brass, aluminum, zinc, and copper..all ARE NOT magnetic.
bet way to tell for sure is by the weight and the mint marks

There's no "kind of" about it. If the coin attracts to a magnet, it isn't silver. I've been doing this for years and years and years. Believe me, I know what I am talking about.

well yes i agree with that if it sticks it is not silver. but like i said there are other metals coins are made of that also do not stick .. as in the 1st comment i posted the dimes of 1968 were made of 50% silver and in the same year also made of nickel.(nickel does not stick to a magnet) but also has no silver content.

im not trying to be a *****, im just saying what i know, trying to find out for sure if this one is a 50% silver dime or a nickel dime
