Description

The listing, UNCIRCULATED 1926 SILVER PEACE DOLLAR has ended.

This auction is for a Uncirculated 1926 Silver Peace Dollar. This is from the Mid-Years and a lower mintage year for the Peace Dollars. As most coins this old, a Great find in the Uncirculated Condition.
I am not for sure, but there is a good chance that this is my last Extra Peace Dollar to be put up here.

The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packages to their destination in a timely manner, but not all of them. Some are still taking up to a week (or more) for no special or evident reason.
Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

you are correct... and these days I am not surprised that I did not notice.

I don't know how you & many others have 30 or more auctions going at once. I list 4 or 5 & can barely keep up. I commend you. You are one of a handful of sellers that actually lists quality coins, the majority of what I see on "Listia" is junk, lol

a lot of people do not know or remember that a good percentage of the coins that I list were at one time listed here that I had won.
as far as "junk" being the only thing listed, the majority of them are not really junk they are mostly foreign coins that a lot of people do not collect.

True, but I do see lots of U.S. coins on Listia that are damaged, scratched or cleaned. These I wouldn't want in my collection. I do realize, this is not a website for professionals, more a place to get rid of things you no longer want.

a good picture (or scan seems to be better) will tell you if it is scratched or cleaned. for some reason people continue to list coins that have a hole in them for a necklace. :\
I used to think that as long as you get a good picture of a coin that you can tell the difference between a fake and the real thing, but after some of what I have been shown as a "chinese reproduction" its, pretty much impossible to tell the difference.
99.9% of what you will see listed here no Listia is not worth the trouble of creating a reproduction of. I have set a limit of what a coin is worth that I will no go over on here anyways and that is probably 100's of dollars below what would be worth faking.

I have a good scanner & it's great for coins, stamps & anything flat. I do very well on Listia, especially with Very old or silver coins. Anything worth over $100, I would probably go back to eBay.

I use $200 pretty much, which would mean if it is $200 in the book, you are lucky to get $100 anywhere these days, but that is fair I think.
then, of course, I do have a roll of dollars that in the book is worth $250 listed at the moment.
I am sure that many would love to see the pile that I do have to get rid of that is a bit too much to be listed here. you never know, they may show up one day since they did not do well on a different site.
