That's awesome! Ya, I had this auction up once before. It was b4 I got it professionally tested. It's stamped 14KT so that's all I needed. But offered to get it tested if the buyer requested. And I would only refund credits if it turned up fake. The user tells me after receiving it that it turned up fake. But since I'm such a nice person I agreed to refund her credits. When I received the necklace back it was broken in pieces (before it was broken by one link). I immediately went and got it tested. As you can see 14KT GOLD 3.1g. I obviously was not happy. Now I'm in the whole 25k+ credits. So the only reason I have not sold this and pocketed the money is because I want my credits back. It sickens me how dishonest people are. I guess I am too nice and too trusting. Which is why I wont except further returns for my future auctions. But I was told by a professional that this is an authentic Italy gold chain.

I'm sorry that someone did that to you. I've had three disputes now. People didn't send the items that I had won. Some can be very dishonest. It's a shame. I hope you get back all of your lost credits.

I know. I've had a few. One dispute I waited over a month for the item I purchased. Sent ONE email. Then when the seller sees that I got my credits back she leaves me some pretty crummy feedback saying I was "impatient". Wow, I didn't know waiting over a month for an item then sending one message (btw with no response) was being impatient. Some people need to cool their jets. And thank you dear, I hope I get them back too :)

I had a buyer do the same thing to me with a ring. I gave her her credits back and she had pried the stone out of the ring when I got it back. Some people (thankfully very few) are so mean and hateful. They must live in total misery to want to do things like that to nice honest people.

Wow. Bc with $40 I would only get 4,000. They offered me $40 at first then $60 when I was walking out the door. I am 25,582 in the hole. Originally it went for 29k+ credits. I'm thinking the buyer wanted to bid on something else. I told her I wouldn't refund until I received it or she gave me a tracking number. #1 She gave me a fake tracking number. #2 She was harassing me until I refunded her. Telling me she had other things to bid on. But obviously I wanted to protect myself. Also, she has very poor feedback from sellers. So I'm not the only one she has done this to. The necklace also wasn't in the shape I sent to her. Instead of being broken but still in one piece, it came back to me broken in several pieces, as you can see. Sometimes people are dishonest and like to screw people over. A relative bought this at a reputable dealer. I seriously doubt they would risk their reputation selling fake gold. Which is why I had a really hard time even believing what the buyer was claiming. I know you don't know me, but it's a little insulting that you would assume I make this up. I treasure Listia AND my feedback a little too much to jeopardize it in that fashion.

I watched them do it. Not too sure what it was. I know there was no magnet involved. They filed a little tiny piece. You can't even notice. But after that I couldn't see what he was doing.

Right now with the price of gold where it's at today (Dec 7th) 3.1 grams of 14k gold is worth $101.04.
