The listing, Cameo Necklace Vintage 1/20 12K GOLD has ended.

I do not know a whole lot about this Cameo Necklace. It is very delicate and very pretty for the Cameo Lovers. It is stamped 1/20 K gold with a name of Carla above the stamping .The Chain and Ring clasp are also stamped 1/20 12 K gold. I was told it is unusual because it is facing to the Left and not the Right.The Chain with the Pendant measures 10 inches long . I did research a few cameos and they are facing the other way .If you love Cameo's then you will love this one.

My german cameo faces the same way as this. The signature most likely is the person who deisgned the finding, and being stamped says its anytime from the 1904 when they started making all countries to stamp all the fine metals. Between the 30's and 40's i would say.. have a blessed day ( I did vintage jewerly shows and cameos have always been my favorites. ) Had a black glass intaglio cameo got in a deal on ebay something like $40 dollars 20 cameos .. she had market value of over $400.00!! Since you know a little about cameo's my husband use to buy jewelry at auction houses. He bought Coreen Simpson's Cameo it is of a black woman and the earrings to match. I put them on craiglist and people were asking to fly in from New York to buy the set. I removed them until I could find out about them. I have no clue about. I do know that Oprah Winfrey is one of her customers and I also found out she will make you a piece starting at 1500.00 . A museum even contacted me wanting the set..There is little to be found on the internet, I have tried and tried. He has vintage jewelry that he has bought that talk about exotic I do not have a clue what half of it is. But if you know anything about the Cameo I would love to know.

I am sorry I can only tell you that it has sit it my jewelry box for at least six years and it was bought vintage. My husband use to, not anymore buy me jewelry and more and more he bought this one at an auction that he used to attend every Saturday night. They use to call him the jewelry man he loves jewelry.He actually built me a little room of my bedroom for my jewelry. Thank goodness he has stopped. so I have no clue I am sorry.

It looks like a normal chain to me it is a little over 9 closed if it was opened it would be 18 :) hope that answers.

Yes dear the chain is included. The chain and the necklace state 1/20 12K gold. I would keep it but I know there are cameo lovers out there that will wear the necklace. They are pretty but I have never collected cameo's.

Do you know if this is solid 12K gold, or just 12K gold filled? A lot of the 12K cameos are gold filled.

I believe it is 1/20 K gold filled. I have a few cameo's but I have never collected them. This was bought at an auction house they had every Saturday night where we live so I do not know a whole lot about any of the vintage jewelry I have. I wish I did :)

Bidding and fanned. I started a cameo collection for my youngest daughter years ago. She now has twin daughters so she says her collection will have to go to her firstborn granddaughter...lol (that is a long way off since the twins are only 5) so I still add to her collection every Christmas....I have been outbid, but I am still watching!
