just a note so you dont get scammed of the get go, and a hint to ,- visit any auction other than your own each day to see that days credit to cash ration its just above the comments you cant miss it, presently 10.000 to equal 1 dollar so that add shipping costs and you can see why posting anything for 10.000 isnt going to cover the cost of your shipping ,and essentially thats what the credits are for,,

is partly the high starting bid and also MANY Wait till the last day many even wait till very last minute in hopes whoever their outbidding doesnt notice in time to rebid , if you did start at a lower bid you would have the excitement of watching the bids go up,thats all your missing out on, Well that and the fee you paid in credits that allowed you to start at higher than 499 which is the highest i can start mine on,
When your certain you have a popular item you need not worry about a starting bid, popular listings always end up as high winning bids, , members tend to use high starting bids when their item is unique , maybe only a few will be interested and it saves them from giving away their item for little to nothing which can happen if only a couple members are interested in the item their listing ,
basically bottom line the lower the start bid the more bidders you get but they mostly only bid low to start because saving their credits as long as they can,, Some place "wathing bids' just enough to put auction on their watch list which reminds them to return and place higher bid later so dont let early low bids fool , if no ones bid yet and you want see some action you can lower it,, i guarantee it will pass 5000 since 5000 is only 50 cents worth of credits i expect this as a first auction ( usually end lower than if you already proved you deliver ) will pass 50.000 easily since that is only 5 dollars worth of credits,, not sure you get a return on any fee you may have paid to start at 5000 but the fun might be worth it,you decide

p.s you can make changes to your auctions up till someone bids after someone bids you can only add updates Both are done using the ' update' button found at the top of your auction page , also sorry my explanation took so much space,i hope also i didn't make it too confusing, i actually deleted a lot i typed b 4 realizing how much i'd actually typed, lol so there were some things i explained that got deleted ,all was about bidders and how they think, some wait till very last minute ,never showing interest b 4 that in hopes they can trick everyone into thinking no ones paying attention or interested they didnt already know about,those are called ' snipers' and their frowned upon and against the rules but happen every other auction it seems,its how they win, without giving the running winner a chance to jump bk in and bid, one more thing , the high bid you see may not be what the high bidders actually bidding, when we bid doesnt matter how high were bidding it only jumps the bid showing just enough to pass the previous bidder , then no one can tell how high their bid it unless someone else bids after them at which time it only goes up if they pass what that last bidder was willing to pay and then only enough to beat them,, Hope that makes sense ,if not et me know,, Happy to help =)

you do have 7 ' watchers' as it shows on the auction not far below where the bid button is sitting , and i expect that to grow in numbers as each day passes, everyone has their own way of shopping,some watch ' new listings' so they see and mark each auction as their posted, others w shop by looking at ' soonest to end ' those are the late bidders added to those who have been watching , once someones placed a bid they remove themselves from the 'watching ' list because they now have your auction on their 'already bid list" lol i was so confused when i first started, Basically everything you need youll find on the left hand side of your " my listia ' page all ined up one a top the other all the way down the page , then to the middle of the page you'll see what your bidding on, watching ,the times and dates they end , auctions won etc CHECK JUST UNDER THAT About once every 24 hours or so you'll get 200 free credits, the add looks like a gift wrapped, lick it, the page will change, then click on the ' skip it' thats it youve earned 200 credits, =) ok you've seen enough of me for one auction lol ill be happy to share more tips n tricks but only if you ask, wouldnt want be a bother , on each persons page theres a spot down left side 1 /6thy way down maybe says Send message ' or contact ' cant remember , feel free to send me messages anytime and on anything ,

As far as not having many bids it's more than likely because you don't have any seller feedback yet so people are slow to bid to begin with but the closer it gets to the end the more bids will pile in, especially in the last few minutes!! And once you have positive feedback you will start getting much higher bids! I'm watching and hoping to bid on several myself!! (✿◠‿◠)
