Groups took them to the post office the first day they were issued and had them stamped by the post office - for collectors purpose. They never shipped the bill.
All markings and stamp are on the bill.

This is a US $2 Bill - that someone had a stamp placed on when it was first issued and had the post office stamp it. Many of these were sold to commemorate the release of the 1976 Reverse of the $2 bill. Which was celebrating the bicentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Indepence. The reverse of the $2 bill prior to this point was the Montecello - Home of Jefferson!!! - Great History here dont miss out!!!
