This is a fantastic vintage piece. It is a Godinger silver plated jewelry box. It is quite heavy, and it measures 9 inches long by approximately 4 inches wide. It is roughly 2 inches tall. The centerpiece on the lid can be engraved (it is blank). The interior has a mirror, and separate divided sections for rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. There are some small sections, on the lid, which show its age, (see photos). The interior is in excellent condition, and the hinge works perfectly. I purchased this at an estate sale, so I am not exactly sure of the history of it, most likely over 30 years old.
