One more tme please, ''It's just that zinnias will always win and be the best. That's just the way things are. lol :) To be more precise, I have two gardens planted right now, one is the wildflower/perennial/annual patch. I love it! There are cosmos, marigolds, zinnias, columbines, blanketflower, nasturtiums, mornig glories, shasta daises, poppies, calendula, and some other wildflowers. The other one is the zinnia patch. I planted these a month ago, so they haven't bloomed. :(''
Cool! Can you believe that I had a total of almost 1500 zinnia seeds (from you, Burpee, ebay, Ferry Morse, ad some other companies)! I only planted half. But I hate thinning! I also don't want them to get podwery mildew!!! :( Can you please suggest something!? I just want to hear from your point of view. Do you happen to know the deadly nightshade plant? THANKS!!
I bet wal-mart will carry something for the mildew. They have everything else! I believe foxglove is the nightshade plant. Sounds like you have a great looking flowergarden!
Yes. Thank you. My garden isn't cute, it's sexy!! Today is a special day, because since you know my wildflower/perennial/annual garden hasn't bloomed yet, today when I was looking for zinnias buds, I noticed a tiny dark purple flower in the middle of the gadren, I nearly fainted!!! It was a purple pansy (trimardeau mix, I've listed these on Listia! It was my first auction!!!) So my garden is beginning life. You know the southeastern United States should be expecting rain soon!
April showers bring May flowers! It is exciting to see the first little signs of life coming up. It is a great reward for all the effort that you have to put into a garden!
