This listing is for one young sweet potato plant. These are organic sweet potato plants, grown from my own potatoes. You'll receive one rooted plant in a pot with soil.

Plant in a sunny location and the vine will spread liberally. The leaves are edible (they work well as a spinach substitute), and also very decorative. Dig up the huge, tasty sweet potatoes in the fall!

You can get multiple starts from one plant. Once your vine starts to spread you can take clippings and put them in water and you'll see roots within days. These can be planted in a new location and before you know it from just one plant you'll have a great sweet potato crop! In warm climates this plant is a perennial. Otherwise store the sweet potato tubers in a cool location and put tuber cuttings in water to create new sweet potato plants in the spring.
