EAR CANDELING, also known as ear coning is a therapeutic art that has been around since 2500 B.C., used by the ancient Egyptians. High-quality, ear candles are handmade from beeswax and unbleached cotton cloths and are typically 9-12" and will burn for aprox 5 minutes.

Through a process called "convection" (softer waxes and toxins will be drawn out of the ear, oxidized and turned into vapors during the procedure. (PICTURE #2 is myself actually having the process done).

This simple and time-proven therapy can be very effective in removing old and troublesome blockages from the ear canal, without the use of solutions or probes.
Many people attest to the value of ear candling in cleansing the ear canals and sinus passages, as well as a spiritual way of ridding the body of toxins and balancing chakras.
These run aprox. $3.00 retail in a holistic shop.

***Other items needed: a small paper plate or piece of foil to catch any ashes (these burn straight and ashes don't fall off, but use foil as precaution), bowl of water, and a damp towel. The person lays their head on the side, the the candle is lit, wait until smoke escapes from the cone and then place inside the ear. Burn aprox 3/4 down the candle then remove and dip lit candle end in water to extinguish. **Instructions will be included :)

lol, Do you think it can actually help with hearing>? Hes 60 and in 1 ear hes hearing is bad. I know those type things just happen with age but I was just wondering if MAYBE it could Possibly help?

Im 30 and I am always q-tipping my ears out ,which now I have heard Its not good to use q-tips but, I hope this EAR candling will help where I dont have so much ear way alost daily, I dont understand it how it builds up so fast within 24hrs or so.

Depending on the hearing issue it may help. I know some people get a lot of buildup in the ears and this has helped people where ear washes have not. It's not a cure all though, and he may need to seek medical help for his hearing issue.
Yes, Q-tipping isn't good for the canal, especially if your not just rimming just inside the ear and pushing farther down in the canal. Most docs tell you the only thing you should put in your ear is your elbow hahahahaaa!! But the candle isn't placed that deep in the canal, not even as far as a Otoscope it :)

Awesome. Yea I tend to go kina deep when q tipping. My Father actually bought a Great working unnoticeable ear piece he found online, He took it out put it on the table at night and his Pitt bull (who loves to take things off the tble) We guess swiped it off and cant find it anywhere! She normally has a spot off in a room he doesnt use where she collects all her knick nack's she steals,lol. But Were guessing she chewed it up.

You will read online where "Dr's don't recommend", or "there's not documented information that ear candling is helpful". But something that's been around for thousands of years and still in practice just can't be discounted. And I for one am a tried and true user!!! As are my Massage Clients that as for the service as well :D

BTW you would make a Killing with a shop that had stuff like this, or other items that r border line Wicca/Pagan that have healing crystals oils, all that type stuff in the area I live. In Beaufort S.C. and Charleston S.C. their r shops like that on every corner!

Dr.s dont recommend much of ANYTHING that does include a prescription! and helping have BIG Pharma making billions/Trillions. So of course they wont say "sure try this $5 method thats been around before Christ it could help alot" lol .

They say that about most natural healing stuff, I got something one time (I forget what it was) But I have HORRIBLE ANXIETY, & I am prescribed to Xanax & Klonopin. Well I went into a Herbal healing store with my GF, And the women in the store swore up and down this certain mixture of stuff would work great for anxiety, being skeptical cause I have had bad Anxiety since a Child,I figured id give it a go, and she even said if I didnt feel Almost instant relief after drinking the Mix She would refund me.. Well within 3 days I figured I wanted to give it a try, so I stopped taking the Benzo's a few days (Normally I take them when I wake mid day and night) So I drank this mix early in the AM on the weeknd, each day and I really could not tell mch a difference , but I did feel very calm, without the pill groggy feeling, well When I had a panic attack I had some brewed from the day before drank it, and It damn sure helped just as fast if not faster than a xanax, Just my Luck the women closed her shop! lol.. So its back to xanax and Klonopin daily for now.

Anxiety and panic attacks r the worst!!! I have been to a point where I would be scared to go into a store, literally trembling, it sucks, thankfully the benzos do help alot

Me too!! I wanna learn to get into those states like a Buddhist does! My X GF was really into Paganism and some Wicca, And she use to set certain stones on my Chakras to help get them in line, and would do rituals of whatever to get rid of any bad energy . She did a neat trick 1 time I wil never forget, She took a EGG (Of course I did not know much about the craft an all that then,so i ask wtf r u doing )? lol, I thought she was gonna crack a egg on my head playing a joke or something.

Well She said its said that if you have any bad energy or whatever in you u use a egg and start from the top off your head and roll it downward over your whole body ,like you were washing it.. So i let her(JUST WAITING FOR THE EGG TO BREAK AND LOL TO START) Well she said after a few miin ok done.. She said if we crack.destroy the egg and their is blood inside then their was a bad energy in me or whatever.. Not thinking a thing bout it really, we walked out side and she cracked it open into a JAR and IT FREAKED ME OUT, I dunno if it was a trick but their was damn sure some spots of red inside the raw egg!! It literally freaked me out. I asked her over n over was it legit, or did she somehow inset food dye into the egg or something. So she showed me one of her books on all that stuff saying it is in fact a ritual done to cleanse.. Have u ever heard that?
