He is about 6 inches tall. I have never used it for anything but decoration. Sorry, I didn't see your post yesterday...

found my tape measurer,,,,he is 5" tall and 4" wide so he is a large mug size. Just moved and can't find my measuring cup but it would probably hold a cup and a half of liquid.
