The listing, Antique Gun Powder Container EXTREMELY OLD has ended.

OK, I'm in my sixties, this has set on my grandpas mantle when I was young, was told it was his grandpas. That would make it antique plus some, lol. I dont know what kind of horn it is, wood has been carefully whittled to fit the bottom. The top has a small crack in it but otherwise is intact. Gramps would fill with gunpowder, then plug the top with a piece of stick and a small piece of leather scrap. It is a really nice collectors item and would make a nice gift for someone who hunts. I am asking for small amount for shipping so that I can verify delivery and package it correctly. I will pay for any amount over what little I'm asking for shipping cost. Dont want this lost. Needs to go to someone who will appreciate it and love it as I have. Am cleaning out my storage trunks, check out my other antiques. Can't take it with me, mite as well find it a good home.

I love your stuff to.........most young people do not cherish the old things. but I will have to say both my boys and my grandson, love anything to do with hunting, fishing, outdoors, and they will put up old bottles and bones will in the wood and they seen to ALWAYS BRING THE BONES TO ME! I don't quite understand that......they could keep the collection....oh, well maybe they have a reason behind all that. anyway.....if any of your things ends up in my house....it will be a treasure and greatly appreciated. im the same way singingbird. I cherish my collectibles and the few i have are really unique or special to me. It's hard to part with them, but I'm getting old, kids not interested and want items to continue to be appreciated rather than tossed. Besides that, im kinda having fun doing this, ties my time up.
