Back in the early 90's I owned a craft shop. I sold quiet a few hand painted ties for ladies. (And some men). I 'girled' them up a little with cute little tie-bars and pins when I displayed them. It looks like a tie-bar but it's a pin. It is gold-tone. No marking. This has never been worn. It was purchased for my displays and used for that. I forgot I had it until I was going through some boxes today (purging) and ta-da. :D It would look great on a scarf, hat or even on a lapel.
