Great auction but I don't see an error on the serial number 8... A star not means its a reprint of a serial number that has been destroyed by the bank... My Granny saves star notes and has thousands of dollars in star bills.

I have heard they are worth a little more than face value though buy not positive... My Granny saves lots of different coins also... We just went through her change because she saves everything form 1980 and earlier... I got her a 1935 silver certificate star note dollar bill because she was born in 1935... She was really excited to get that one.
