Does this have raised edges to use to press into clay for adding texture to it?

I have never thought of that.. what a great idea. you could probably use with clay. It is just the same as the other embossing folders. Have you used any of them with clay?

I'm not familiar with any paper craft items llike this. I've never seen one before. I"ve used the Makin' brand clay texture sheets and other textured items that can be rolled onto the clay that leave behind textures. Just not these. would they work? Is there enough edge to embed on the clay?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. watch u-tube demo for embossing folders to see more. I would think if you put your clay in and press it down it would work. You may need to let the clay dry before removing it from the press. This could be very nice in clay.. good luck.
