The listing, Purple Orchid Tree seeds (sprouted) has ended.

Each order will be 2 Newly sprouted Orchid Trees. Live , in small amount of organic soil , ready to plant. I treat all seeds w/D.E. ( diatomaceous earth) For Eco -friendly insect control. These trees grow fast & are very easy to care for. If they are allowed to grow naturally, they They have multiple, thin leggy trunks , similar to a Dogwood. Or you can train them into thicker trees by trimming. Either way, they are full of colorful blooms in the spring & summer w/large showy green leaves.

I can tell you what I know about growing them. It's early very simple as they tend to self start & thrive. I live in south Texas (near Houston) so I try to keep them in semi sun until they get about 2-3 ft tall because the summer sun here can burn most anything. If you live in a more temperate climate more sun is ok. They don't require much care , moderate water & larger pots as they grow & prefer being planted in the ground as soon as possible. Once they are in the ground, the grow really fast. If you have hard winters , they need protection from freezing until well established & they have a good "wooded" trunk. They can be left outside but should be covered until then.

The pics I took of the sprouts were taken today. I just planted them about 3days ago. By the time the auction is over , they will be larger & I promise to pack them well & be sure they are moist & protected. Thus the need for the $3.99 shipping. If there are issues w/them once you receive them, let me know & I'll send you new ones. I will also be listing dry seeds for them if you'd prefer to start them yourself.
