Yeah I lived in Florida until I was 10 and then my parents moved us to Asheville, NC ... talk about a culture shock LOL ... went into the USAF @ 18 ended up in Hampton, VA where I met my ex husband and well stupidly got out of the AF so he could join the Marines and we ended up in Jacksonville, NC ... so much for traveling the world LOL ... after we divorced went back to Florida for awhile and wish I had never left ... but my daughter lives in Beaver Falls so she is why I stay, even though she is grown :- )

I lived in Shalimar, FL, right near Fort Walton for a year, then Orange City for a year then Jacksonville for 4 years. Love the panhandle most. Jax was OK, but not as nice as Shalimar. My family lived in Ohio & dad was sick that's why I moved back north. He died in 2004, then hubby died in 2005, that's when we went back to FL because his family was there. Dumb me moved back north because mom was sick but then she got better. In the meantime I met my BF who lived in Pittsburgh. Mom just passed this past April & he sold his house in Crafton and we bought this one in Sutersville. Nice house, got the river in the back yard but I would still rather be back in Florida, I HATE winter!

Reminds me not only of Florida where I was born but also of the NC coast where I lived when my ex husband was a Marine ... now I'm stuck in PITTSburgh LOL and miss the ocean terribly :- )

OMG, sounds like me! I wasn't born in Florida, Ohio, but lived in FL for 6 years & miss it terribly. Then guess where I ended up, Pittsburgh lol, hate it there! Just moved about an hour SE of there to a nice little town. Vacationed many times in OBX :)

Actually I just got into the clay. Made 1 for myself & thought I'd do 1 for here & see how it goes :) Working on 2 more now, another sea themed 1 & 1 with a rose & flowers. Gas card, yee haw, look out beaches the beeatches are coming lol
