The listing, Prickly Pear Cactus Seeds has ended.

I will open up a fruit and scoop out some seeds to mail.

Prickly pear cactus is ornamental and is beautiful in a yard. I have the yellow flowers and the peach.

The patty of a cactus can be used the same as a potato and eaten as french fries, fried or mashed. The taste is similar to a potato.

The flower of the cactus tastes AMAZING!! I love it. It makes wonderful candy and jelly. I loved eating these as a kid. I still do lol.

Can these be indoors only?

You could grow them indoors if you had them near a very bright sunny window.

I have some cactus in pots, but in the winter I have to bring them in due to the temps........

Actually I am not North I am South in Upstate South Carolina. I am about 30 minutes from Charlotte NC, yea go Panthers, lol!!!!! So will this plant work for me.....our average winter temps are upper 20's night and 40's in the day.....

They should be fine outdoors. However if they dip lower it might be good to bring them in.
