This is a very cool old vintage metal octagonal promo coin put out many years ago by Palmolive Peet Co. Chicago. One side of the coin reads: "Good For Two Cakes Ben Hur Laundry Soap Free When You Buy Three Cakes". The other side of the coin reads: "Dealers, This check will be redeemed at your retail price and only when conditions on the reverse side have been complied with. BHA3 The Palmolive Peet Co. Chicago". Coin measures about 1.5" across & is in good condition w/ typical age/storage wear. Great old advertising coin from long ago! I have one of these. I found it in the ground near our well house when I was a very young child. I called the Palmolive Co. and they said they came out in I think 1965-66. they still have some and their not rare but different.
