This auction is for TWO coupons that will each get you one 6-lb bag of Purina CAT CHOW cat food for FREE! That's TWO FREE bags of cat food! You can get any variety or flavor you (or your kitties) want.

These are manufacturer's coupons and can therefore be used anywhere coupons are accepted. (And has the product, of course!) They were sent to me by Purina and, although it is hard to tell in the picture, they do have security features.

Each is valued up to $4.50 (total value of $9.00!) and expire on 12/31/11. I will be sure to mail out your coupons ASAP after I get your address.

Very generous offer! Do you just contact them and ask for coupons? i'm curious how people get the totally free ones. I see a lot of them on here. Fanned and watching for now.

In the case of these pet food coupons, a couple months ago Purina had a promotional event during which you could request one out of a limited number of specific free products per day. They ran out *extremely* quickly every day so you had to be ready at the exact moment they became available. It was a hassle but worth it to me. :)
It's a similar situation for the vast majority of free product coupons I've ever received. You have to hear about the event and be really quick to get them. You can write to companies and ask for coupons, but as far as I've ever experienced or heard, if they agree, they will send you a couple dollar or cents off coupons, not freebies.
