The listing, Roll of (50) George V era Canadian pennies has ended.
This is roll #2, it contains 50 Canadian pennies all featuring the George V obverse. Dates ranging from 1920-1936 in various grades,
**some have beautiful luster and colorful rainbow toning, like the one shown at the top of the roll**
I've also included a pic of the next coin in the roll, a high grade 1920 which happens to be a key date (first year of issue for Canada's small cent)
The Royal Canadian Mint stopped making new pennies in May, 2012, after the government announced in its spring budget it's discontinuing the coin. On February 4, 2013, the Mint stopped distributing pennies to financial institutions, marking an official end to the era of the penny
These George V era 1 cent coins are particularly collectible. In high grades, they can be very valuable.
