I know them by the name Triops. They are a blast! I had some in a ten gallon filtered tank, as they are dirty little buggers! Enjoyed them for a long time. Dang, now I want to dig out my tank and get some! Also, just a side note, saw the can of Moxie. Never heard of that before. Just started the new S.King book and they talk about it, got to that section this morning, so just thought it was funny that now I see a can.

they are dirty little buggers indeed, you sure have to take care of them if you want them to live. and the Moxie is only available around new england....and since i relocated to wisconsin it is a pricey treat i buy on ebay for around 20 bucks a twelver. its definitely an acquired taste, being a medicinal elixir, as coke and pepsi were, coke once containing cocaine, pepsi containing pepsin, moxie contains gentian violet root to this day and has a very distinct flavor. i love my moxie and will end my moxie rant now...
