Here is a Button Bracelet Kit I found in a box of craft stuff at an estate sale that looked interesting. Dated 1973. Reads: Knit or Crochet, Make your own unique, attractive bracelet. 5 row button bracelet kit contains 48 different and unusual buttons, 48 beads and elastized cord. Instructions on back. (I cannot guarantee you the quality of the elastic after all these years) It tells you if you want to preserve the finish on the buttons to spray coat of clear acrylic so these might be metal, but doesn't say anywhere the content of the button or beads. With the weight of the package I think these might be metal and not plastic. Made in Ohio., 1973. Price written on package was $6.00 as if from craft store pricing. Please contact with questions.
