Hello! This bid is for a pink nintendo DS lite game system. It was given as a Christmas present when they first came out. This DS was played maybe for a month? It looks brand new, shiny & very cute. Only problem with it is it has water damage to the touch screen (why it was played only for a month). Everything still works on it but the touch screen. it would be a great present for a younger child! If this auction hits over 4000, free shipping! (: thanks!!

Thank you to carlnsarah and mommakim6! I hope I'm able to snag this for her. She has dysautonomia and spends a lot of time between bed and hospitals, so I thought this would give her something to do. Sorry my spelling meant to say almost, anyways my kids played gba & ds pokemon games with their damaged ds lite, then after over 2 yrs their ds just stop working, then I decided to get another two consoles due to the long lasting reliability of this kind of hand held consoles, fanned, watching and bidded, but alcy has a better purpose for this ds, so go for it alcy ! Actually as BrittBliss03 explained before, almos any game can be played using only the bottoms, my child had one that the bottom screen was also milk damaged and he used it for over 2 yrs. playing without the touchscreen, but the bottoms supplied the need of the sceen, this is a special edition ds that was realeased with the game nintendogs ( my little girl still have hers ) So if your kids are not too picky this woud work pretty good, and the screen there are people who offer replacements for about $ 20- 30. @Rhonda182: You need more than a charger and stylus if you want to get this working. The touch screen needs to be replaced before it will recognize a stylus at all. You need to buy a screen and specialty screwdrivers to repair it. As-is, it's only good for playing Game Boy Advance games (and a few rare DS games that don't use the touch screen at all). If you need to buy a DS stylus and charger though, any game store or online auction site would sell them.

Just for extra clarification, without the touch screen working, you probably can't start a game, since it requires the health and safety warning to be touched, right? Not complaining, I can fix it if I win (hoping to get it for my friend who is chronically ill), but thought it would be good to have the information up in case, for anyone who might be considering it. GBA games can be played using only the top screen/buttons, but I think you'd still need to be able to touch the bottom screen to start them.
