This psp 1000 is jailbroken and can run ps1 and psp games off its memory card, as you can see here it is running final fantasy 7 just fine.
it has a bad umd drive but i did replace the analog stick(still sticks sometimes), the front case bezel and the memory card reader/wifi board,
it is put together but missing a few screws. comes with a 2gb micro sd memory card adapter, battery and its charger. thanks for looking

The term, jailbroken, means the system no longer blocks what software can be put on it. You could run unauthorized software, including illegal copies of games. Of course, the big bonus is you can run emulators and homebrew software.

just an FYI, although there is nothing wrong with jailbreaking, if there are any games on the memory card when you send the item, its illegal and considered distribution of stolen property unless you send the original disc with it. just don't want you to get in trouble.
