General Impression
An abstract game that deals with topics such as secret societies and religions without offending anyone and providing a quite interesting albeit short experience. Built like an adventure and puzzle game, The Next Door features decent graphical details but it is dragged down by the glitchy and outright obnoxious selection of sounds. I do agree that it is currently overpriced at 18€. This is the dev team’s first game on Steam and surely they can correct the pricing issues eventually. The puzzle sections need to be slightly better organized as the difficulty scale is off-balance.
