FREE: Scarf Deco/ Holder

I am sorry I am completely blanking out on what this thing is called! But you know what it is even if you don't think you do lol.

It is to hold a scarf together around one's neck or wherever they wear it (ahh the boy scouts wear a type of these what are they called??)...

Anyway, as you can see you loop the scarf through it and wear it decoratively, as well. Uncertain if this is silver or silver plated. It is heavy, however. From an estate sale.
