What is the size of the white Grandma Pendant?

And also, can you add a close up photo of what adorns the top of the hair teeth barrette? I am so interested in seeing what it is, and it's too far away for me to tell! Haha!

It will be so very much appreciated!

And maybe while adding the close up photo of the top hair barrette, can you add a photo of the White Grandma Pendant next to a coin, so I can get the best idea of its size!

It will be so very much appreciated!

Thank you for coming by and recognizing the work :) I don't believe the stone is Jade, it does have great highlights and is properly highly polished. Might be Aventurine, a stone usually originating and used in South Western jewelry

I'm sorry if I offended you? I'm not doubting you in any way nor was I trying to be mean. As I said, I'm just very fascinated with historical items such as yours & just love seeing old pieces such as these - not as an 'investigation' of any sort. & yes, I have bid on this but was outbid quickly so I put it in my 'watch' list so I could try for it again later. Now I feel under duress... :(

Turnabout is fair play,no? lol, @ 500k I will acquiesce to your demand of a "Photo" (Please read my NEW up-date above, a bit of excitement for the crowd!) and if read completely you will find that there is most likely NOT an item here that belonged to Ms Weston, the game is afoot Sapp0.....no duress, have fun! :)

Julian Hawthorne (June 22, 1846 – July 21, 1934) was an American writer and journalist, the son of novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne and Sophia Peabody. He wrote numerous poems, novels, short stories, mystery/detective fiction, essays, travel books, biographies and histories. As a journalist he reported on the Indian Famine for Cosmopolitan magazine, and the Spanish–American War for the New York Journal.

In 1908, Hawthorne's old Harvard friend William J. Morton (a physician) invited Hawthorne to join in promoting some newly created mining companies in Ontario, Canada. Hawthorne made his writing and his family name central to the stock-selling campaigns. After complaints from shareholders, both Morton and Hawthorne were tried in New York City for mail fraud, and convicted in 1913.[11] Hawthorne was able to sell some three and a half million shares of stock in a nonexistent silver mine and served one year in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary.[12]
Upon his release from prison, he wrote The Subterranean Brotherhood (1914), a nonfiction work calling for an immediate end to incarceration of criminals.[13] Hawthorne argued, based on his own experience, that incarceration was inhumane, and should be replaced by moral suasion. Of the fraud with which he was charged he always maintained his innocence.

Respectfully speaking you WILL NEVER (Most likely) see another of this TYPE of auction again, unless it is at an auction house. I say this because of the letter included in the auction. It is authenticated by the OTHER letter I have to be written by an actual acquaintance of Enrico Caruso, to a very personal friend of Mr Caruso's. I imagine you can find Jewelry of this caliber all over Listia, although you will be quite hard pressed to find the AMOUNT of nice items I have posted....in one place :) The letter make it an absolutely phenomenal auction and IF you do some "Due diligent" research you will find i am "Right on the money" when it comes to Ms Weston. Because I own over 200 personal letters of hers i doubt that even close friends of hers 100 years ago knew her as well as i do. It closes a gap that is seriously missing in many auctions, no matter where you go...a "Gap" of a personal nature, will you EVER be as familier with a person who lived a century ago as you will after you own this letter? I think not. Truth be told I "Baited" you all with the Jewelry, which are all very fine pieces, so that you could be brought closer to Ms. Weston. Sh was a patron of the arts and a true American Patriot, a strong woman, an intelligent and informed lady who often travelled long distances unaccompanied and unafraid. I am proud to own so much of her history and to be able to share some of it with you, please bid accordingly and enjoy the history that this most unusual auction affords. God bless you all and God bless America.
