This is a very nice large Bromeliad Tillandsia Tropical Plant. It has a nice root system, but being an air plant you don't need the root system and can cut it off or leave it on if you wish. They require no soil at all. If you live in a tropical area, you can attach them to wire close to a tree and they will adhere themselves to the tree. But they won't do this in any other part of the country. I keep mine in this black vintage native american bowl and spray it during the summer usually every other day with water. Once a week I will soak it in a pie plate for about 20-30 minutes, then drain water, place paper towels in pie plate and let it drain.

They keep indefinitely if you don't overwater or let it sit in water and rot.

This plant will come with the black pot as well as instructions for care of it. It measures approximately a 10" plant.
