'All The Pretty Horses' is a western romance drama based on the 1992 novel of the same name written by Cormac McCarthy. The film was released in theaters December 25th, 2000. The story follows John Grady Cole, a young cowboy and his best friend, Lacey Rawlins as they venture to Mexico in search of work. Along the way, they meet an aristocrat's daughter, Alejandra Villarreal, with whom Cole falls in love. This film stars Matt Damon, Penélope Cruz, Henry Thomas, and Sam Shepard. Directed by Billy Bob Thornton.
