50 ORGANIC HOLLYHOCK SEEDS! Mixed colors(rosy pink, white, and a light pink variety(Heirloom)with rosy pink centers).I've decided to just mix up all my Hollyhock seeds together! I will include a little extra seed in my shipment since I had an abundance of seed this year.Hollyhocks used to be known as the "Outhouse" flower because in the "good old days" Hollyhocks were planted next to the Outhouses! Happy bidding everyone!

Thank you AnnwithnA! Just found out about another "Outhouse" plant they used to grow in "the good old days" (lol---before indoor plumbing!) The 'Grandpa Ott's" Morning Glory!circa 1763! My my---they were clever folks back then! And good gardeners too no doubt! The Hollyhocks were brought to America waaaaay back in 1631! Apparently they did not catch on in Europe as much as here though. Btw---Hollyhocks "self sow" so you will get lots more of these. I found an incredible book in my library ---"Gardening With Heirloom Seeds" by Lynn Coulter---that's where I read about the "Grandpa Ott's Morning Glorys etc. I recommend it---it has very pretty reproduction prints of the "Vintage"--lol-- plants and veggies and she mentions "Renees Garden" seeds--nice color pix too.Check it out if you can.Happy bidding!
