Description

The listing, JAPANESE WISTERIA SEED PODS has ended.

This is one of my very favorites in my yard. When these are in full-bloom, they are breath taking. And, I'm not sure that they don't smell better than they look!
This plant can be trained to be a tree, or a vine; whichever you prefer.
In this auction, you will get two seed pods, that will carry two to four seed in each one. (see pic #10). After it dries out, just open up the pod, and there are your seed!
I would start them in a smaller container, maybe a one gallon pot, then plant in the Spring. After it is established in the ground, it does not require a lot of water, and virtually no attention. (unless you want to train it in a certain direction, or course.)
Make sure that wherever you plant it, you are ready for it to grow wild. It is very fast growing, and will go in every direction.
I have a pagoda, and I have some running up the sides, and water falling thru all of the spaces above. It is a sight to behold in the springtime.
Happy bidding, and good luck!!!
AND, I am always open to a reasonable GIN.

A friend of mine has a wisteria tree and we both tried starting the seed. I had 3 come up and he had one. We both had them in containers. And all of them died. Any idea why? We both have green hands so we do not quite understand,

Maybe too much, or not enough, water?
I've been lucky with them myself.
