I won this phone and then found out I am stuck with AT&T for a bit longer so I will stay with my IPhone

Here are the details about this phone. It comes with the car charger and micro SD card just like I got it. As you can see from the pictures that it works and I have been able to use the WiFi on it but I never did set it up with Metro. Seems to work fine the best that I can tell as I only have had it for a few days.

i have this phone and i can say it is a great phone! and metroPCS is no contract i currently pay 50 dollars unlimited everything and i do believe for this phone because it is a android phone you have to pay the 50 dollars a month i know they have other plans that are lower... all in all this is a good phone its also my first android phone so all the ppl that have never had a android phone they say this is the best one to get.

Yes Jennifer above is 100% correct, this is a prepaid phone, so the ESN isnt as important. She is part correct, they dont check to see if theres an unpaid bill, but they do check to see if its reported lost or stolen, thats it. If its not lost/stolen, it will always be ready to be activated, because its prepaid month by month basis. If you dont pay an upcoming month, it just wont work. I like prepaid phones, and with newer ones like model coming out that do everything the "fancy" contract phones do, why would anyone ever sign a 2 year deal to get a phone? I would only consider signing one to get a newer iphone. Other then that, i stick with prepaid. This is a nice phone, I might do a GIN after i free up some credits I have tied up on that red Wii. Them darn wii's and xbox's lure me in every time, lol.

Okay the reason I am looking for another metro phone is simple. I got the phone and then found out I was stuck with AT&"T so I choice to stay with them. The day that I listed this my grandchild threw her mothers METRO phone in the fish tank. Too late for me to pull my auction so I have started to look for a phone for my daughter. I have over 58 auctions completed with 100 percent feedback. It is not polite to make judgement without asking people. Shame on you. I hope you are embarrassed as you should be. All metro phones have clear esn numbers as you buy the phone up front and you can not owe a bill against the phone.

no you don't have to activate it. it will work where you have WiFi for everything except phone calls

What do you mean by Hex code? Please read all the comments on this auction. The phone is real and it has been taken to a Metro Store to be sure it is clear of any holds and they updated and said the phone is working well. I will not give out any ESN type of numbers as they can be stolen and used on another phone. I will give the code to the winner before I ship and if they have a problem when they call metro I will keep the phone and let them have their credits back. I will not change this in any way. If you do not like this than please take your credits somewhere else. I am a trusted seller on this site and I did not get that rating for scamming people.

I am sorry to all who have bid on this auction I am going to ask listia to pull it. I can deal with mean people. I just put in a ticket to Listia for advice on this phone and what to do. It seems that it does have a clear ESN but the person I purchased it from has not as of yet released it from their account. They may not have known that they had to do this. I sent a message to the past owner. but I no longer want anything to do with this phone. At least I caught it before anyone got my problems. I will have great pleasure if I do not get the ability to have a clear phone of running it over with my car. I have had a very hard year with deaths in my family and only wished to get presents for my grand kids using this site. No I feel this is also lost. I will wait to find out the response from the person I just got the phone from.

metro pcs doesn't have any sim cards,so it not possible to use with other phone companies.
