LOL, well depends on the chihuahua. If he or she is not over 7 pounds it should fit nicely. Perhaps even a pound or so more. I have seen chihuahuas from about 3 pounds up to around 15 pounds so I'll have to let you be the judge. Hope this helps and thanks for your interest. Merry Christmas.
