When you say battery is friend....does that mean that the only thing necessary to do beside reincstalling OS is to put in a new battery or was anything else ruined around the battery?

if you have the disk you can wipe it out your self you will lose every thing you have on it but it cleans it and you just re do it and it will be like what it was when you got it.
