Do not confuse the tea tree with the unrelated common tea plant that is used to make black and green teas. Tea tree oil is applied to the skin (used topically) for infections such as acne, fungal infections of the nail (onychomycosis), lice, scabies, athlete's foot (tinea pedis), and ringworm.

if you have never used tea tree oil, you need it! I use it all the time. I mix it in my foot lotion to prevent athletes foot. I use it on pimples to dry them up. I add it to my face wash to prevent acne. I add a few drops into my laundry when I wash towels to kill bacteria and leave a nice scent. I mix with a carrier oil and apply to my forehead for headaches. I could go on and on!
