Donald Eugene Lenhardt (born October 4, 1922, at Alton, Illinois) is a retired outfielder, first baseman, third baseman, scout and coach in American Major League Baseball. In his playing days, he stood 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m), weighed 195 pounds (88 kg), and threw and batted right-handed. He was nicknamed "Footsie" by teammates because he often had difficulty finding shoes that fit him properly.[1]

Lenhardt attended the University of Illinois and Washington University in St. Louis, and served in the United States Navy, before joining the St. Louis Browns farm system in 1946. He led the Illinois-Indiana-Iowa League in home runs in 1948 and earned a major league job with the Browns at the start of the 1950 season at age 27. Much-traveled (and frequently traded), he would play in the American League for five seasons (1950–54) for the Browns (twice), Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox (twice), Detroit Tigers, and the Baltimore Orioles (where as a transplanted St. Louis Brown he was a member of the first modern Baltimore MLB team in 1954). In 481 games, he batted .271 with 61 home runs and 239 runs batted in. His best season was his rookie campaign, for the 1950 Browns, for whom he reached career highs in homers (22) and RBI (81).

After finishing his playing career with Boston farm clubs in 1955-56, Lenhardt became a Midwest-area scout for the Red Sox for over four decades, interrupting that tenure only to serve as first-base coach on Eddie Kasko's staff in Boston from 1970-73. He retired from the Red Sox in 2004.

Donald Edward Lee (born February 26, 1934 in Globe, Arizona) is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Detroit Tigers (1957–58), Washington Senators (1959–60), Minnesota Twins (1961–62), Los Angeles & California Angels (1962–65), Houston Astros (1965–66) and Chicago Cubs (1966). Lee batted and threw right-handed. He is the son of former major league pitcher Thornton Lee.

Lee attended University of Arizona. Signed by the Tigers as an amateur free agent in 1956, he debuted in the 1957 season. After two years with the Tigers, he was sent to the Senators. In 1965 Lee went to the Angels. He finished his career with the Cubs in 1966.

Lee was a journeyman pitcher who divided his playing time jumping between the rotation and the bullpen. His most productive season came in 1962 with Minnesota and the Angels, when he compiled career-highs in victories (11), strikeouts (102), shutouts (2) and innings pitched (205.1).

In a nine-season career, Lee posted a 40-44 record with 467 strikeouts, a 3.61 ERA, 11 saves, and 828.1 innings in 244 games played (97 as a starter).

Charles Thomas Wagner (December 3, 1912 — August 31, 2006) was an American right-handed pitcher and coach in Major League Baseball who played his entire career for the Boston Red Sox (1938–1942, 1946). Nicknamed "Broadway," he went on to a 50-year career as a scout and minor league instructor. His professional relationship with the Red Sox lasted a record 73 years.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, Wagner debuted with the Boston Red Sox on April 19, 1938. After being used in both starting and relief duties, he enjoyed his first full season as a starter in 1941. He was the second in a pitching rotation that included Dick Newsome, Mickey Harris and Lefty Grove. Wagner finished with a 12-8 record and three shutouts, and his 3.07 earned run average was the best on the Boston pitching staff and the third best in the American League, being surpassed only by Thornton Lee (2.37) and Al Benton (2.97), and over Marius Russo (3.09).

In 1942, Wagner compiled career-highs in victories (14, eight in AL), starts (26), complete games (17, seventh in AL), strikeouts (52), innings pitched (205.1), and had a 3.29 ERA. After the season, he left his team to serve in the Navy during World War II. Wagner returned to the Red Sox in 1946, along with teammates Ted Williams, Dom DiMaggio, Bobby Doerr, Johnny Pesky, Tex Hughson and Joe Dobson. He pitched his final game on August 8, 1946, ending with a 1-0 mark in 30.2 season-innings.

In a six-season career, Wagner posted a 32-23 record with 157 strikeouts and a 3.91 ERA in 527.2 innings.

Omar Joseph "Turk" Lown (Born May 30, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher over parts of eleven seasons (1951–1954, 1956–1962) with the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. For his career, he compiled a 55-61 record in 504 appearances, mostly as a relief pitcher, with a 4.12 earned run average and 574 strikeouts. Part of the White Sox team that won the American League in 1959, Lown did not give up a run in three appearances in the 1959 World Series loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
