ok heres the deal with this era powerbook ..there are useless for gaming today and actually for almost everything however i collect machines like this because they play old games (like the original starcraft) the best operating system you can put on this is mac os 10 (tiger) NOTICE I DINT SAY OSX THERE IS ACTUALLY A DIFFERENCE..os 10 was the original release (intend for mac with a power pc cpu*aka like this one*) this will mostly likely ship with a late os 8 or os 9 and is really underpowered they arent the flashy shiny decent powered macs of today in my shops and collection this are considered vintage (not old enough just yet to be a classic) however they will bee soon and their collection value should come up quite i bit ..and yes i am qualified to make these statements...if you need my qualification message me ..all that being said its a great and good looking good condition machine and anyone who wins it should love it..

Thank You! people this guy knows his thing. tThat is why I want this to go to people who knows the value of it specially in collectivity sense. The machine is in good condition and kept well no missing keys or cracks even the scratches are to the bare minimum if any? If you look at my other auction for the Powerbook Duo 250 as far as the cracked screen the thing is in perfect condition but people who knows and appreciate these machines should even consider putting any bid on the machine. That little one is a classic!

thank you and thank you for the compliment i have degree in computer network technology and am an operating system ninja (not to toot my own horn but im fluent in *takes deep breath* windows 3.1 95 98 me 2000 xp vista 7 8 server 2000 2003 2008 virtual server,mac os 8 9 10 x,unix, free bsd, ubuntu linux fedora gentoo xbmc,haiku,and many other small insignificant one lol it my hobby) m also a very skilled game console modification and customization veteran and 8 year system builder whew..i need a pre typed qualification speech now lol

Wrong! there is nothing wrong with this! the one with the cracked screen is the powerbook dou 250 that i also have on my other auction. this is in good working condition!

Is this the right one for you? Macs are not as easy as your common PC - the older model it is the harder it is to use not like and older pc.

is there an sd card slot and is it super slow?it works if the cord stays plugged in?

no sd slot. it work without the cord but for a short time coz battery wont hold charge thats why you need new battery
