The listing, Vintage Coin / Still Bank with 50 Wheats has ended.
For all you coin collectors out there. This bank came from a Montana home that was closed up since 1959. The gentleman that lived there passed away in late 1958 and that's the latest wheat in the tin. He was saving up until the end. The wheats are as follows. 1- 1917. 2- 1919. NO 20's. A few from the 30's. Majority are from the 1940's. A dozen or so from the 50's. Some of the coins are toning. From what I can find, the bank is 1940-50. Even the paper liner behind the glass shows nickels and mercury dimes. The latch is missing on the bank. When we found this hanging on the wall in a pantry, it felt like we were right there with him. The tin is period 1940's. There are 50 total pennies. Instant conversation piece. Awesome piece of exonumia. As always FAST, FREE, SHIPPING! Thanks for looking, and if you choose to bid, Good Luck!
