Up for bid are two counted cross stitch books in nice condition. Both books have borders included along with the alphabet and numbers.

Laura Conley's book has 45 alphabets and 115 borders. This is a 1984 publication, and is out of print. There are no color suggestions given in this book (and no colored pictures, just design charts). Front and back covers are in color, should you choose to use her folksy colors as an example.

Likewise with Jean Farish's book. No colored pictures, and you are on your own with whatever thread colors you choose to use. She does show the designs worked in color on the front and back covers, but they don't show up especially well on her background fabric. Pretty designs though!
