This cute little box is 3" in diameter and 1-1/2" tall. It was made in India, probably for tourists, but it is still very well done. It is light, I think probably paper-mache or some similar building material. I'm pretty sure it is hand-painted. The top shows an African Lion standing over his prey and the sides are painted with sprays of leaves, looks like bamboo. The inside and bottom are painted black. Notice the little notch in the lid so you can easily match up the lid and box. The only wear on the box is on the bottom. This is a nice little box, perfect for holding your rings or any other small objects. Free shipping to any USA address.
